Lady Laker Volleyball wins district matchup with Cumberland County

The Lady Laker Volleyball team continued its winning ways on Thursday, winning 3-0 on the road in a district match against Cumberland County. 

The Lady Lakers improve to 17-1 on the season with the win, and have won their last 13 matches. 

Briley Murray led the team with six kills last night, followed by Kenzie Kelsey and Jaterria Coffey with 5 each, and Aysha Sutton and Rachel Webb with four each. 

Murray had two blocks and Sutton and Lauren White each had one. 

Avery Hart led the team in assists and digs with 26 and 10. 

Jaylee Roy finished with 8 service aces. 

The Lady Lakers will go on the road to play in the Southern Kentucky Slam at Allen County this weekend before coming back home for a district match with Monroe County on Monday.
