The Russell County Lady Laker Volleyball team swept Monroe County on Monday in both varsity and freshman action.
The varsity Lady Lakers won 25-8, 25-11, and 25-13 while the freshman squad defeated Monroe County 21-9 and 23-21.
Five Lady Laker seniors, Kenzie Kelsey, Olivia Pierce, Rachel Webb, Jenna White, and Lauren White were honored during Senior Night festivities before the varsity matchup.
Tonight, the Lady Lakers travel to district rival Clinton County for matchups, beginning at 5 p.m.
