The U.S. Postal Service has increased the price of mailing a first-class letter as now a “Forever Stamp” costs 60 cents.
The move went into effect on Sunday. In addition to the price increase on first-class stamps, other postal services are now higher-priced as well.
Postcard stamps, money order and certified mail fees are among the services seeing rate hikes.
The postal service said the increases come to about a 6.5 percent increase across the board.
