Hospital board receives update on plumbing work; tax rate unchanged

Russell County Hospital recently had some much needed plumbing work done on the aging infrastructure at the facility to the tune of more than $250,000. RCH CEO Scott Thompson talked with WJRS NEWS following Tuesday night’s regular monthly meeting of the hospital’s board of directors…

The work still to come will not impact any patient rooms but no timetable has been set for the additional plumbing work at the healthcare facility.

The rates of 6.6 cents per $100 of real property and 9.2 cents per $100 for motor vehicles and watercraft have not changed in roughly a decade.
