Three people were sent to the hospital following a three-vehicle collision that occurred on Highway 127 in front of McDonald’s Tuesday afternoon.
According to Russell Springs Police, a 2008 Kia Sorento operated by 62-year-old Mary Elliot of Jamestown turned into the path of a southbound 2019 Buick Encore operated by 71-year-old Charlotte Terwilliger of Dunnville.. The collision sent Terwilliger’s vehicle into the path of a 2016 Dodge Challenger being operated by 45-year-old Jerome Sayers of Russell Springs.
Elliot and a juvenile passenger in the car were transported to Russell County Hospital for observation. A passenger in the Buick, 74-year-old George Terwilliger, was also transported to Russell County Hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
