Former Russell Springs Mayor Eric Selby has filed for a seat on the Russell County Board of Education.
Selby filed paperwork on Friday to run for the board of education seat in District 2.
That seat is currently held by Sheila Wicker, a retired educator, who has filed for re-election.
The deadline to file for mayor, city council, and school board seats is tomorrow.
