More than $11 thousand was collected by the Russell Springs Fire Department over the weekend for the WHAS Crusade for Children.
According to Russell Springs Fire Chief Bobby Johnson and Asst. Chief Mark Barnett, a grand total of $11,506.75 was raised.
According to the fire department, that is the most raised locally for the crusade.
