The average price of gas in Russell County has taken a slight dip over the last week.
The average price of gas in Russell County, according to AAA, was listed at $4.70, down nine cents from last week.
Despite the small decrease, prices remain higher in Russell County than many neighboring counties. For instance, the average price in Pulaski County was listed at $4.58 and $4.53 in Clinton County.
Adair County and Wayne County were also noticeably lower, listed at $4.60 and $4.62.
The average price in Casey County was slightly higher than Russell County, listed at $4.74.
