After a week or so delay, the Russell County Farmer’s Market opens up this morning at 7:30 a.m. at the Russell County Extension Office.
The farmer’s market will also open at 7:30 a.m. on Friday and will open this coming Saturday at 9 a.m.
There will be WIC coupons for vegetables and senior citizens will be able to receive similar benefits but must first apply at the extension office.
The market sells agricultural products grown locally by the Russell County Farmers’ Market members.
