Casey County citizens will benefit from a grant awarded to a company that will expand high-speed internet access to nearly 300 Casey County households and businesses.
Cumberland Cellular received a grant for $1,012,879. The overall project cost is $2,025,758 including the required matching funds. This investment will expand access to high-speed internet to 290 currently unserved households and businesses located in Casey County.
Russell County was also included in this funding announcement. As we mentioned earlier this week, Duo Broadband received state funds that will assist in bringing fiber internet to the Jabez area.
