Arrests made in separate incidents all include drugs, among other charges

A Somerset man was arrested on drug and other charges by Kentucky State Police on Tuesday afternoon, according to jail records.

Charles Back, age 43, was arrested by Trooper Billy Begley on charges of possession of a controlled substance second degree – drug unspecified, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana. Back was also served with a parole violation warrant.

A Russell Springs woman was arrested on meth and other charges by the Russell County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday, according to jail records.

Angela F. Passmore, age 39, was arrested by Deputy Nathan Ginn and charged with possession of a controlled substance first degree first offense (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with physical evidence. Passmore was also served with a parole violation warrant.

A Russell Springs man was arrested on strangulation and drug charges by the Russell County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday night.

James Kiser, age 57, was taken into custody by Deputy Jared Pierce and charged with strangulation first degree, possession of a controlled substance second degree – drug unspecified, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and assault fourth degree.

All those arrested Tuesday were lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
