The Kentucky Department for Public Health reported 24 new cases of COVID-19 in Russell County last week.
In neighboring counties, Adair County had 18 new cases, Casey County had 14, Clinton County had 20, Cumberland County had 7, Pulaski County had 59, and Wayne County had 17.
Across the state, 13,497 new cases were reported with a positivity rate of just over 12 percent.
