The Russell County Middle School Girls Soccer team defeated South Laurel by a score of 4-0 Thursday night.
Addison Coffey, Madison Weisbrodt, Marissa Hatchett, and Adriana Thomas each scored a goal for the Lady Lakers.
The boys finished with a 1-1 tie against South Laurel. Andre Perez scored the goal for the Lakers.
Both teams play Monday in the district tournament. The Lady Lakers will play at home, while the boys will go on the road to Somerset Christian.
