The Russell County Lady Laker Softball team fell to Marshall County in Myrtle Beach on Tuesday by a score of 12-2.
It was a tough day defensively for the Lady Lakers, as they finished with 7 errors in the game.
The Lady Lakers finished with 4 hits on the day, with Emma Popplewell leading the team with 2 hits. Caroline Wells drove in a run for the Lady Lakers.
The Lady Lakers go on the road Monday for a rematch with Pulaski County, and return back home Tuesday for a district matchup with Clinton County.
