House budget includes FEMA match funds for storm shelter at 4-H camp

The budget bill that passed through the Kentucky Legislature includes funds that would provide a storm shelter at the Lake Cumberland 4-H Camp in Jabez.

The bill includes $1 million in fiscal year 2o22-2023 to meet the required 25 percent match for FEMA funds for storm shelters at three 4-H camps in Kentucky, including the camp in Jabez.

The Lake Cumberland 4-H Camp is the largest 4-H camp in Kentucky and serves 20 counties for summer camp.
