The Laker Track team traveled to South Laurel on Tuesday to compete against 18 teams including multiple top 10 athletes in the state.
Several Lakers placed in the top 10 of their events.
7th Grader Cadence Rager set two personal bests, as she placed 6th in the 800M run and 3rd in the 1600M run, good enough to be ranked in the top 50 statewide in all classes.
Junior Cheyenne Roberston placed 10th in the 300m hurdles.
Junior Clayton Trosper placed 7th in the 300m hurdles, which kept him ranked in the top 50 statewide in all classes.
Sophomore Nick Ford placed 3rd in the Shot Put in which his distance kept him ranked in the top 50 statewide in all classes.
The track team will compete in the Blue Raider invitational on Friday at 5:30 at Lindsey Wilson College.
