Unemployment rates fell in all 120 counties between November 2020 and November 2021, according to the Kentucky Center for Statistics, an agency of the Kentucky Education and Workforce Development Cabinet.
Russell County’s unemployment rate is currently 3.4 percent, Adair is 3.1 percent, Casey 2.7 percent, Pulaski 3.1 percent, Cumberland 2.3 percent, Clinton 3 percent, Wayne 3.2 percent, and Taylor 2.3 percent.
Woodford County recorded the lowest jobless rate in the state at 2 percent while Magoffin County recorded the state’s highest unemployment rate at 9 percent. Kentucky
