The Russell County High School Dance Team had a great day at the “Battles of the Bows” competition at Jeffersonville High School in Jeffersonville, Indiana on Sunday.
The Lakers finished in first place in both the Hip Hop and Lyrical routines and also received “Best Use of Skills for Lyrical” as chosen by the judges from all routines and teams competing.
Russell County was also named Grand Champions with the “Highest Scoring Routine” in Hip Hop.
Four dancers were singled out by the panel of judges as “On Point Performers.” Those were Olivia Thomas, Mia Keen, Madison Caldwell, and Morgan Taylor.
