The Cumberlands Workforce Development Board is teaming up with five other workforce development boards across the state to bring another “Commonwealth Coders” web development training program to 66 Kentucky counties, including Russell, Adair, Casey, Cumberland, Green, Metcalfe, and Taylor. The program begins in January 2022.
The virtual training program allows individuals that are willing to dedicate 16-weeks to become career ready in a growing tech industry. Students will be required to dedicate Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 2 pm central time to the program. Some participants will qualify at little to no cost, but there are also self-pay and employer pay options, program organizers say.
