In a show of cooperation and teamwork, Jamestown Mayor Nick Shearer recognized Russell Springs Mayor Eddie Thomas as a Friend of Jamestown during a Jamestown City Council meeting last week, noting how well the two have worked together and the cooperation between the cities during Shearer’s tenure.
Mayor Thomas expressed his gratitude to Shearer and said the city will continue to reap the benefits of Shearer’s work in his time as mayor.
