State Legislature Could Extend Candidate Filing Deadline

The filing deadline for candidates for office is now less than two weeks away. There is discussion, however, that the legislature will pass a bill the first week of the General Assembly to extend that deadline. State Senator Max Wise told WJRS NEWS this was very much in the works….

Again, the current filing deadline is set for Friday, January 7^th.
