Progress on the construction of the KFC in Russell Springs is continuing and the restaurant could be open to the public in just a few weeks.
As of now, WJRS News is told that the plan is for the restaurant to open to the public shortly after the beginning of the new year, during the first or second week of January.
The planned opening in early January is subject to change due to weather.
The KFC will be located in the same location where Long John Silver’s used to be in Russell Springs.
