Lakers defeated by Pulaski County

The Russell County Laker Basketball team was defeated by Pulaski County on Wednesday by a score of 92-49.

With the loss, the Lakers are now 1-10 on the season while Pulaski County moves to 15-0 on the season.

The Maroons were seemingly able to score at will against the Lakers, converting on 40 of 69 field goal attempts while the Lakers were 16 of 49 from the floor.

Owen Loy led the scoring for Russell County with 16 points, followed by Mayes Gosser with 14. Braydon Cerrato finished with 6 points and Trace Stringer added 4.

The next scheduled game for the Lakers is on January 7, a district matchup at home against Cumberland County.
