The Laker Swim & Dive Team kicked off the December leg of their schedule on Thursday night, hosting Barren, Boyle, Pulaski, Rockcastle, & Southwestern. The Lakers came up just short to an always strong Boyle County Team.
The Lakers bettered the teams from Barren, Pulaski, Rockcastle & Southwestern on a night where many best swims were recorded by Laker swimmers.
The Lady Lakers top three scorers were Marlei DeVore (19 points), Alexa Stephens (18 points), and Ally Stephens(17 points).
The Laker Boys were led in scoring by senior Dawson Haydon (21 points), Jacob Phillips (20 points), and Ethan Coe (13 points) & Weston Ryan (13 points).
The Lakers will host Marion County next Thursday at 6 p.m.
