A Jamestown woman was indicted by a Russell County grand jury on arson and insurance fraud charges on Monday/
Sarah L. Turner, 33, of Jamestown, was indicted on charges of arson 2nd degree, tampering with physical evidence, and fraudulent insurance acts over $10,000.
Kentucky State Police are bringing the charges against Turner. In September, KSP announced that Turner had been arrested following a 7-month investigation into a fire at Triple Crown Lodge Outfitters in the Creelsboro community in February.
13 others were indicted by the grand jury on various charges. Those indicted and their charges include:
- Gregory Thomas, 39, of Russell Springs: Possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
- Michael Crabtree, 47, of Jamestown: possession of methamphetamine and driving under the influence.
- Hannah Dabney, 19, of Jamestown: possession of methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl, possession of drug paraphernalia, and receiving a stolen firearm.
- Wayne E. Murrell, age 42, of Russell Springs: possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance third degree, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Jonathan Carnes, age 39, of Richmond: rape 3rd degree.
- Christopher Woodall, age 31, of Russell Springs: trafficking in methamphetamine and being a persistent felony offender.
- Minnie Peterson, age 32, of Russell Springs: trafficking in methamphetamine and being a persistent felony offender.
- Richard B. Jones, age 48, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina: possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving under the influence.
- Douglas W. Payton, 50, of Russell Springs: possession of methamphetamine.
- Alex W. Hopper, age 22, of Russell Springs: possession of methamphetamine
- Latasha Popplewell, 34, of Russell Springs: possession of methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance 2nd degree.
- Tasia Sexton, 29, of Edmonton: possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Terry W. Popplewell, age 43, of Russell Springs: possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
