The Russell County Community Blood Drive is today at the community room at the South Kentucky RECC Building off Highway 127.
The blood drive is from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
All donors will receive a Kentucky Blood Center hoodie (as supplies last) and be entered to win 1 of 3 $100 gift cards, sponsored by First National Bank of Russell Springs, Bank of Jamestown, and Commonwealth’s Attorney Matthew Leveridge.
Experts say blood donations typically are low during the holiday season, so those who are eligible are encouraged to donate.
Appointments can be made for blood donations but walk-ins are also accepted.
