No further details have been made available regarding the death of a Russell County man whose body was discovered on Friday.
As WJRS News reported Friday, the body of 38 year old Christopher Glen Coffey was found at Eagles Nest RV park, which is located in the Middletown community, just off highway 127. According to Coroner Mark Coots, Coffey died of a possible knife wound. An autopsy was scheduled over the weekend to determine the official cause of death.
Reportedly, Kentucky State Police Post 15 in Columbia is investigating the incident as a homicide. Several attempts by WJRS News over the weekend to get more details or additional information from the State Police regarding the incident were unanswered.
