A death investigation is underway in Wayne County after reports that skeletal remains were found on a farm Tuesday night.
Z93 in Monticello is reporting that the remains were found by a farmer in a field off East KY 92 in the Oil Valley community.
The Wayne County Coroner’s Office and Kentucky State Police are leading the investigation.
As of now, the remains have not been identified and whether they belong to a male or female remains unclear, as does the cause of death.
