The Russell County High School Marching Band finished fourth in the state competition on Saturday.
The band competed at semifinals at Boyle County High School Saturday afternoon, and their performance earned them a spot in the state finals that night at Kroger Field, where they finished in fourth place in Class 3A.
Russell County finished behind Murray High School, Estill County High School, and Adair County High School.
