The Russell County Middle School girls basketball teams advanced to the conference finals with wins over Casey County on Monday.
The 7th grade team won by a score of 47-24 with Camdin Cooper leading the team with 16 points.
The 8th grade team won 45-43 with Aniyah Coffey scoring 19 points and Addy Abrell adding 10 points.
Both teams advance to the conference tournament finals with the wins, which will be played at Metcalfe County on Thursday. The first game will begin at 5 p.m.
