The Russell County Lady Laker Volleyball team will compete for the 16th district championship in Cumberland County tonight.
The Lady Lakers came away with a 3-0 win against Metcalfe County on Monday night to clinch their spot in the district championship along with a berth in the 4th Region Tournament next week.
The district championship will take place at Cumberland County High School, beginning at 6 p.m.
