The Laker Band took home first place in the East AAA Regional contest on Saturday at Madison Southern High School.
This is the third time the Laker Band has won the regional competition since 2009.
They finished atop the 10-team field which included Estill County, Madison Southern, Harlan County, Garrard County, Wayne County, Boyle County, Russell, East Jessamine, and Pulaski County.
The Laker Band will perform this Saturday in the Class AAA semifinals at Boyle County with the finals at Kroger Field in Lexington that evening.
