Jamestown man injured in Adair County collision

A Jamestown man was injured in a single-vehicle collision on Saturday in Adair County.

Deputy Sheriff Tracy McCarol was dispatched to a single vehicle collision 4 miles east of Columbia on KY 80 Saturday.

Preliminary investigation shows that Kenneth Montgomery 19, of Jamestown, lost control of his 2007 Ford passenger car. Montgomery was traveling west when he dropped off the shoulder of the highway and in an attempt to recover the vehicle, he over corrected.

The vehicle then began to roll over multiple times and Montgomery, along with his passengers Alex Gaskin, age 17, and Justin Cox, age 17, was transported to TJ Health of Columbia by Adair EMS for treatment of injuries.

The Adair County Sheriff’s Office is continuing the investigation .
