City council expected to vote on new fire chief at Friday’s special-called meeting

The Russell Springs City Council is expected to vote on a new fire chief at a special-called meeting today at 2 p.m.

One of the agenda items for the special-called meeting, which will take place at city hall, is the nomination of a new fire chief.

The agenda also includes items including a fire department update and the creation of a position in the Streets Department.
