The Lady Laker Volleyball team went on the road to Clinton County Thursday night, falling 3 sets to 1 in 16th District action.
Clinton County took the first two sets by scores of 25-23 and 25-18. The Lady Lakers took the third set 26-24, but fell 25-21 in the fourth in the best of 5 match.
Briley Murray finished with 8 kills, followed by Kenzie Kelsey with 6, and Sophie Shearer and Emery-Kate Robertson with 4 each. Rachel Webb added three kills.
Sophie Shearer led the Lady Lakers with 5 blocks, while Briley Murray added 4.
Avery Hart led the team in assists with 20. Jenna White led the Lady Lakers with 10 digs, while Amy McGowan finished with 8.
The Lady Lakers return to district play on Monday when they travel to Cumberland County.
