A Richmond man was arrested by Kentucky State Police locally on Saturday.
According to jail records, Edwin Herring, Jr., age 31, was arrested and charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana, trafficking in methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Herring was arrested by Trooper Begley of Kentucky State Police Post 15 and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center at 2:15 p.m. Saturday.
