A Liberty man was arrested by the Russell County Sheriff’s Office Thursday afternoon.
Jordan Wheat, age 26, was arrested and charged with shoplifting under $500 and providing false statements or misrepresenting to receive benefits less than $500 along with being served a bench warrant.
Wheat was arrested by Deputy Corey Meyer and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center just before 2 p.m. Thursday.
