The Russell County Lakers fell to 1-4 on the season with a 49-21 loss to Warren East Friday night.
Tony Noyola picked up two touchdowns on the ground for the Lakers, and Braxton Walters added a touchdown on the ground to round out the Lakers scoring.
Noyola finished with 45 yards on the ground and Walters added 42.
Gavin Gossage led the team in rushing with 98 yards on 21 carries. Gossage also finished with 9 completions on 20 attempts for 104 yards with 3 interceptions.
Kelby Grider led the team with 3 receptions for 51 yards.
Noyola and Walters led the team with 8 tackles each. Gage Hicks and Larin Coffey finished with five tackles each.
Yarley Medrano was successful on all 3 point-after attempts.
