Forest Wayne Tarter, of Eli, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. He was 64 years of age.
Forest was born on July 13, 1956, in Somerset, son of the late Adelma Rowe and Bethel Roy Tarter. He farmed produce, tobacco and cattle all his life on his family farm.
He is survived by his son, Hunter Tarter, of Troy, Alabama.
Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m., Friday, June 18, 2021, in Bernard Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will follow in Coffey’s Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Bernard Funeral Home after 1:00 p.m., on Friday, until time for services.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family requests donations made to the Coffey’s Chapel Cemetery Fund.
