Mayor Eddie Thomas will present a nominee for the position of Russell Springs Police Chief at tonight’s city council meeting.
WJRS News spoke with Mayor Thomas and confirmed that he will present the name of his choice for the position, and the city council will vote whether or not to approve the mayor’s recommendation.
The city has undergone an extensive process over the last few months in taking applications and forming a committee to review those applicants and interview prospective hires.
