Russell County Schools will be all-virtual today, and tomorrow begins the expanded return to the classroom for local students.
The hybrid model will be abandoned in favor of a four-day week in-person for Russell County students. Any student who wishes to return to in-person instruction can begin doing so tomorrow.
Parents/guardians still have the option to keep their students on a virtual education path.
Beginning next week, students will be in-person Monday-Thursday with Friday being an all-virtual day.
