Local law enforcement made multiple arrests over the weekend.
Those arrested include:
- Ronald Swartz, 51, of Russell Springs, arrested by officer Zach Carney with Kentucky Fish and Wildlife. Swartz is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence aggravating circumstance, possession of an open alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle, failure to produce insurance card, no registration plates, and ATV violations. He was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center just before 5 p.m. Sunday.
- William Colt Wilson, 37, of Russell Springs, arrested by Deputy Ron Golden with the Russell County Sheriff’s Office. Wilson is charged with persistent felony possession of a firearm and being a persistent felony offender. He was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center just before 9 a.m. Sunday.
- Eric Cason, 39, of Dayton, Ohio, arrested by officer Wayne Wilson with Kentucky Fish and Wildlife. Cason is charged with improper display of registration plates, failure to produce insurance card, improper registration plate, failure to maintain insurance, no license in possession, operating on a suspended or revoked license, and being a fugitive from another state. He was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center at around 5:30 p.m. Saturday night.
