Drug raid on Jericho Road results in multiple arrests

Russell County Sheriff Derek Polston said the Russell County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police executed a search warrant at a residence on Jericho Road Tuesday night, resulting in multiple arrests.

Those arrested were Marvin Owens, 36; Randy Copley, 49; and April Weston, 37.

Each were charged with trafficking in meth first degree second or more offense, possession of an unspecified drug, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Copley and Weston were charged with outstanding indictment warrants on drug and parole violations.

Another man, Arvin Stargel, 63, was also arrested on outstanding warrants.

Deputy Kenny Perkins is the investigating officer and was assisted on scene by other members of the Russell County Sheriff’s Office and KSP Trooper Billy Begley.

The investigation is ongoing and will be presented to the Russell County Grand Jury.
