Next week’s Russell County Schools schedule will be slightly different.
The group that normally attends in-person on Thursday/Friday will be in-person on Wednesday and Thursday for next week only.
The entire district will be all-virtual on Friday instead of Wednesday next week.
The five-day meal kits will be distributed on Friday, Feb. 26 instead of Wednesday.
The change is due to faculty/staff that received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine will receive their second dose on Thursday, Feb. 25. There are often side effects from the second dose, so this will make accommodations for faculty/staff that may not feel well enough to work the following day.
Extra staff will be coming in to clean Tuesday evening.
