The Russell County Sheriff’s office told WJRS News that a Russell County man was injured in an automobile collision Thursday night on Highway 619.
According to the report, Scott Wilkerson was traveling eastbound on 619 when law enforcement said they believe he missed a curve, leaving the roadway and striking the side of a nearby residence.
The accident happened at around 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
Authorities working the accident told WJRS News that Wilkerson was transported from the scene by Russell County EMS, and later flown out to another hospital.
