A fire early Saturday morning destroyed a Jamestown home. According to Jamestown Fire Chief Jeff Landers, his department received a call about 3:30 Saturday morning of a structure fire on Blankenship Road, just off south highway 127. Landers said the structure, reportedly owned by Catherine Grider, was completely engulfed in flames when the firefighters arrived. No one was home and no injuries were reported as firefighters were on the scene for about two hours.
