Today is Election Day; WJRS Election Coverage tonight

While voting in the November general election has been ongoing for several weeks, today is Election Day in Russell County and across Kentucky and the United States.

Any registered voter that hasn’t voted already, either by absentee ballot or early in-person, today is the last day to cast a ballot.

Two voting super centers are open today, the South Kentucky RECC Building off Highway 127 and the LEVEE Building behind the Russell County Courthouse in Jamestown. Both polling places will be open from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.

If you have an absentee ballot but have yet to return it, you are encouraged to return the completed ballot to the secure ballot drop-off box located at the Russell County Courthouse to ensure your vote will be counted.
