SPC has put most of the state in that dark green level 1 “Marginal Risk” for severe weather. Not expecting an outbreak or anything, but a few storms could reach that severe status. It’s important to note that it is not uncommon for us to see severe weather this time of year. We have our traditional severe weather season in March, April, and May, but we also get some severe weather in the fall months as well so this is not something that is rare by any means.
