Russell County Schools to remain virtual this week

Russell County Schools will remain virtual this week, and the situation will be reviewed at the end of the week, per Superintendent Michael Ford. At the time of the decision, Russell County was in the orange for COVID-19 cases. As of Sunday night, Russell County was in the red again. The school district currently has eleven employees either in isolation or quarantine. There is no school on Wednesday for Veterans Day.
