Get Ready for the Rain

Good Wednesday morning, everyone hope you have had a good week thus far. After two days of dreary weather you can expect much of the same today, but rain chances are going to increase as we get into the afternoon and overnight hours and over the next couple of days as a system along with remnants of Hurricane Zeta close in on the state. Let’s check out the latest hour-by-hour…

You can see just a big shield of rainfall coming in from our South and that should arrive late this afternoon and into the evening hours. Some areas could pick up on some decent amounts of rainfall as well…

Looks like Western Kentucky will see the most rainfall with 3-4 inches, meanwhile here in the Lake Cumberland Area it appears as if we can expect a general 1-2 inches with the possibility of some higher amounts especially in low lying areas. Make sure and keep an eye out if you live in a low lying area for any type of flooding issues. We will continue to keep an eye on everything and post updates as necessary. Have a wonderful Wednesday and stay safe out there.
